My childhood home had a lovely tree in the backyard. Man, it was a big ass, old tree. Its towering’ limbs arched up to the sky, ready to embrace the sun. I always saw this tree with its gnarled trunk and heavy canopy of foliage. It quietly witnessed time passing’ and numerous memories unfolding’. The generation before me had come and gone. Finding’ themselves sharing’ the shade amongst themselves. I was pretty attached to the tree. I don’t know why I was drawn to it, but I was.
The Big old tree is about 20-30 feet high, almost like a freak of nature. It has a nice, huge, strong trunk with many thick branches, perfect for climbing’.

It’s crazy amazing how fast time passes. My family and I arrived at this gorgeous home with a gravel driveway. First thing I did? Quickly left the car and ran for that huge tree to climb its branches. No doubt, those leaves would tell amazing stories if they could communicate.
